Doing art is an amazing experience; a timeless adventure into yourself and a world of endless discovery. I had the great fortune of being born with artistic talent, and to be totally honest, I feel it saved my life. So maybe I haven’t become some great famous painter which I have strived to become every day of my life, but it was the sheer act of creating that took me away from my fears and everything else that was haunting me in my head. I could experience the feeling of timelessness, connect to the higher energies, and remain hopeful by wanting to finish a piece of art so I could put a feather in my cap for my accomplishment. This blessing is obvious to me now, but the constant pushing my art into the world has only met with minimal success but I am thankful for it and it does still continue. They’re not kidding when they say, “Don’t quit your day job!” You need a lot of money to be a full time artist with good support early on and some really excellent karma.
